child, a personal early education plan is com-

child's growth environs.
Open daycare centre Preschool education
The activity of the open daycare centre is
intended for pre-schoolers and their parents
or carers who look after them at home. The
operations are arranged at the Family Service
Centre in Korkalovaara, Nivavaara and Oun-
asrinne.
Pre-primary education Preschool education
In pre-primary education, the S2 teaching for
a child who speaks a foreign language is
based on the child‟s goals as entered in the
pre-school education plan and Finnish 2 as
the language in the curriculum. Instruction in
the child‟s own language is arranged in coop-
eration with Basic Education.
Personnel training Preschool education
During the 2012–13 operational period, the
Roi HAAPA project arranged instruction on
preschool and basic education for the per-
sonnel. By educational means, support for the
