Atelier Leijonatorni provides artistic pleasures and a ro-
mantic atmosphere by the Lumperoinen lake under the THINGS TO DO ACCOMMODATION
guidance of a tour guide.
The atelier exhibits works by Jouko Hackzell over the
years. Most of the paintings are on sale, and you can
also commission your own work.

The art gallery established by Saarijärven museon ystävät ry Association in the summer of
2021 is located in a historical building, in the centre of Saarijärvi, which the Paavonseutu Co- MAPS AND INFO
op previously used. The name of the gallery, Ahku, comes from Central Finland’s northern
dialect word, which means passion, will and desire.
In addition to temporary exhibitions, the gallery also sells
art and auxiliary products.
