IT’S TIME EDITOR’S
TO TALK NOTE
By reaching out and sharing who we
are and what we do, everyone can
benefit
As our special feature states, ‘TOP TRUCK has a se-
cret’. Despite our superb reputation for commercial
vehicle repairs, our status as a global network, the
largest such network in the world, is sometimes over-
looked by customers. Advocacy of this fact, and the
interconnected nature of our business that it highlights,
will be crucial for our development and expansion.
Our featured member text, Germany, also shows how
the combination of networking and exposing the group
to potential customers can yield significant advantages.
The competitive edge gained by being open to outside
influence, by sharing ideas and speaking with consu-
mers, suppliers, and experts in the field, is significant.
Many other networks under the TOP TRUCK umbrella
have followed suit this year, organising conferences or
attending trade shows, spreading the word about our
business and learning from, and teaching, others in the
sector.
And such networking will be crucial in the future.
As has been the case since June 23rd, 2016, Brexit
looms on the horizon. With little clarity about how com-
mercial networks will function after the United King-
dom leaves the European Union, it is unsurprising that
uncertainty persists. Despite significant increases in
trade through the Channel Tunnel, for example, UK
demand for commercial vehicles decreased by 2.6%
compared to last year.
So, whether it is talking about the global nature of our
network, communicating with potential customers,
suppliers, or industry figures, or just carrying out the
best service for our existing customers, TOP TRUCK
needs to keep talking. We’ve got a lot to shout about,
after all.
The TOP TRUCK International team wishes all the best
for the remainder of 2018!
