In the idyllic lakeside setting of Lumperoinen, nume-
rous artworks form a permanent exhibition throughout
the year. At the studio, you can commission artworks,
purchase finished artworks, or simply stop to enjoy the
unique atmosphere – alone or with friends.

The art gallery established by Saarijärven museon ystävät ry Association in the summer of
2021 is located in a historical building, in the centre of Saarijärvi, which the Paavonseutu Co- MAPS AND INFO
op previously used. The name of the gallery, Ahku, comes from Central Finland’s northern
dialect word, which means passion, will and desire.
In addition to temporary exhibitions, the gallery also sells
art and auxiliary products.
