Installation
• Install the AP9/10 box first to the wall. In the AP10 you can mount holder first if so desired.
• Push the holder firmly in place (on plints inside AP9/10).
• Put the strain relief (if used) opposite to the AP-holder.
• Put cables into the box and strip wires.
• Connect to splicing connectors.
• Put the connectors into the holder. Alternative the splicing connectors could be put into holder prior to putting
conductors into the connector.
• Secure cables to strain relief with cable ties.
Additional
The AP-holder AS221.4 and cable strain relief AS9.10 can be used at the same time.
The AP-holder can be mounted on all four sides of the AP9 junction box.
AS.221.4 is only approved for use in combination with the AP boxes from ABB. Use
with other products can result in malfunction and void the warranty.
