Kukonhiekka is one of Finland’s most popular summer dance venues, located on the shore
THINGS TO DO of Pieni Lumperoinen lake by the Saarijärvi city centre.
Dances are arranged there on Saturdays from Mayday eve until mid-October with top
Finnish artists −the program also includes a few pop/rock nights. Covered outdoor dance
floor, f ull alcohol licence, three bars, café, grill, karaoke, two terraces with a view. Electrical
sockets for 6 vehicles and a toilet/shower for overnight guests.
